This dead fir tree is in the Mt. Hood National Forest.
High on the Columbia River Gorge, in the Mt. Hood National Forest, I found a number of standing dead trees that have been thoroughly scavenged by woodpeckers. Lovely place up here. Seven species of woodpeckers live in the forest, so I cannot say which ones may have hammered away here.

GoPro’s, though entirely automatic, do a fantastic job, particularly in forests. Most often you can correct many issues in Lightroom or Photoshop.

I plan on making a gopro photography segment on my WordPress. So i want to implement the gopro style of photography more. I dont see alot of gopro photography.

Anthony, yes, about half my pictures now are with it. I edit with Lightroom, and use different settings I’ve created for different effect. I shoot with a silver edition 3.0. Works fine for me.
